Many of us can recall the first time we heard, "Hang On to Your Love", or "My Love is King", it was a different time.

Then it's like our silk soulful sister, Sade, 51, just disappeared, she left the music industry.

According to her bio: For most of the past 20 years, Sade has prioritized her personal life over her professional career, releasing only three studio albums of new material during that period.

Her marriage to the Spanish film director, Carlos Scola Pliego in 1989; the birth of her daughter in 1996 and her early 21st century move from North London to rural Gloucestershire, where she now lives with a new partner,

have consumed much of her time and attention.

And quite rightly so. "You can only grow as an artist as long as you allow yourself the time to grow as a person, " Sade says.

We're all parents, our lives have all moved on. I couldn't have made Soldier of Love any time before now, and though it's been a long wait for the fans - and I am sorry that - I'm incredibly proud of it."

Comic, Wanda Sykes and millions of fans have been waiting for the Nigeria and English mix goddess of "silk soul" to return to the music industry.

It's hard to believe that Sade has only released 6 CD's; 1984: Diamond Life: 1985: Promise: 1988: Stronger Than Pride; 1992: Love Deluxe; 2000: Lover Rock and now just released on February 9, 2010: Soldier of Love.

Then of course, the other CD's, 1992: Remix Deluxe; 1994: The Best of Sade; 2002: Lovers Live.

The "Soldier Of Love" CD is a concept, mood product. Sade's vocals are crystal clear, the music is breathless and perfect. From the first song, my favorite, "The Moon And The Sky" is a wonderful way to get started. You are reminded why this diva is Queen.

There are no club songs on this CD. Most of the songs are slow and easy listening, great background music and also perfect for an evening of romance or a dinner party. This CD will find itself in the company of the 30 plus audience.

In the last week Ms. Sade has appeared on the David Letterman show, the View and most definitely will be appearing on other television shows. Perhaps the CD should have been titled, "The Return of Sade".
