After Natalie's plead on the Larry King Live show, the musical diva received a kidney from decreased donor. Many of you may be aware that she's been battling Hepatitis C and due to the treatment, her kidney failed.

Surgery was performed on Tuesday, May 19th , Ms. Cole, 59, is recovering successfully. 

Sadly, Ms. Cole's older sister, Carol "Cookie" Cole, 64, died during Natalie's surgery. Sister, Carol was an actress and was in the original movie, "Taking of Pelham One, Two, Three". Her credits are also "Sanford and Son" and she appeared on her father's, Mr. Nat King Cole's show.

Our prayers and condolences go out to the Cole family in regard to Ms. Carol Cole and we will keep Ms. Natalie Cole in our prayers.
